about me
I am based in London and have been working as an artist in ceramics and photography for several years.
My recent photography education includes the postgraduate course in Photography at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. My final project, 'Rooted in Time', is an ongoing study of ancient heritage trees and man's interaction with these 'green monuments'.
My practice is motivated by strong feelings about the natural world and a pull towards the aesthetic.
My main areas of interest are those of landscape and natural phenomena, abstraction, potential beauty in the ordinary and memory.
Depending on the type of project on which I am working, l like to use different tools and techniques. whether it be traditional film and cameras, a pinhole camera, digital processes or even experimental darkroom techniques.
I make 'organic' porcelain papercly vessels and sculptures which complement my two dimensional work.
